Design and Development of Top Menu icons for a low budget phone.

Heritage theme was further ideated to bring significant and recognizable metaphors for icons. The ideation was structured towards the
Maharaja Era.

Brainstorming for the identity of India was researched through The voice of people...mode of visuals, short writings & recordings. The content was sorted to find patterns and further assimilated to find relationships and themes.

Themes were identified and Heritage Theme was taken forward for one model. Brainstorming was conducted to identify the Maharaja era and symbols associated with it. These associations were further iconised and re-evaluated for legibility and metaphor comprehension.

The process was iterative which involved testing with users for evaluation.The image on right displays the process diagram , where icon design was incorporated within the model development lifecycle(MDLC).
